Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept card payments. If you are shopping from Europe, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. All non-UK orders will be charged a flat rate postage fee. Once the P&P charges are calculated, we will refund you any postage paid over reasonable P&P charges.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Sorry, but we do not accept back-orders. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling At Indigo Mill we believe that the fairest way to charge for P&P is by using a weight based method. You don't want to pay an expensive flat rate for a few sheets of paper, so we have a sliding scale of P&P charges based on product weight. That way, what we pay, you pay!
All shop purchases over £50.00 are P&P free |
Delivery Schedule We usually despatch orders within 48 hours of receiving them. In busy periods, or around school holidays, this may take longer. Should there be any unforeseen problems causing delays in orders being despatched we will make every attempt to notify you as soon as possible.
Orders from outside of the UK may take slightly longer to despatch whilst we arrange courier delivery.
All orders leave Indigo Mill in perfect condition, and securely packaged. Once it leaves our premises, it is delivered into the hands of the delivery service, and thus we are not liable for any damage to your order during transit. Should you receive a package which is damaged, we advise that you take photographs of visible damage prior to opening it, and - where appropriate - sign for your order as damaged. You may then take up a claim against the delivery company for necessary damage compensation.
We will notify you by email once your order has been despatched. If you have not received your order within 3 working days for 1st class post, or 5 working days for 2nd class post or Standard Parcels, please let us know. Please note however, that we have to abide by Royal Mail's strict 'lost parcels' claim procedure, and are not able to pursue a claim for compensation, and therefore refund or replace your order until *15 working days* from the date that Royal Mail deem the order *should* have been delivered.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |
| Back Orders Indigo Mill does not currently accept back orders. If an item you are looking for is out of stock, please get in touch with us on customerservice@indigomill.co.uk and we will be happy to advise you whether the item is still available, and whether we expect to be restocking the item. |
| Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
